A Hoy hoy

Hey All!

I just got back from Kununarra Western Australia today. I had a great time over in the big state. I had abit of a culture shock though. Coming from a suburban city to out in the middle of the sticks.

The people there were really friendly. I did alot of touristy things with mum and aunty Deb. We went to Katherine and Emma George (they were both amazing) and we explored the great dessert. I would have to say that the highliight of my trip was the Kimberly Moon festival in which Jimmy Barnes was the main act. My sisiter organised the entire event and I could not be more proud, the night went off without a hitch.

All in all it was a great holiday and much needed break, my 21st is coming up on the 27th of May and it was the best present that I could ask for. I loved the time away and It allowed me to entertain the idea of moving around the country in the future. I have realised what a great, diverse and unique land Australia is and I am so proud to be an Aussie. Wollongong is a great place but I look forward to spreading my wings and traveling further in the future.

Untill next time,

Ashleigh Anderson
